One beautiful sunny Sunday morning we headed to the Sheeps Head Peninsular and Kilcrohane, where we had lined up a full day of singing activities with the community. We began by singing at the Farmers Market where we had a great reception by stall holders and punters alike. Then we headed off to one of the members homes nearby for lunch. In the afternoon we took over the beautiful Whitehouse Gallery space-home to Corina, Mick and family (big thankyou to them) and held an ‘open door’ session. In the evening once rested, we headed back into the village and to Eileens bar where we sang away for the next 2 – 3 hours, finally leaving a great singsong by the locals who were gathered behind us!!
