From January – March 2019 I’ll be returning to Andalucia and working in three communities….each with differing stages of developing Community Choirs. I will be dedicating this blog page for the duration of this time on the development of these groups….so follow us along the way to see how it’s all going!
In November 2018 Caz Jeffreys and Jane Goss (West Cork based Community Choir leader) collaborated to bring Craig Lees over from UK for a Choir Day event in The Celtic Ross Hotel, Rosscarbery, West Cork. The day was a big success with all tickets sold out and has now become an annual event. So make a note in your diary and keep an eye out for the latest developments…and make your booking early!
You can see more photos of the 2018 event in the Gallery here
The next public workshop is currently being planned for April 2019 in a West Cork venue…..further information coming up shortly.
Bohemian Rhapsody is a well-loved ‘classic’ song with a strong and passionate melody that everybody loves to sing, together with multiple harmony work and a dramatic operatic section.
This fun and dynamic workshop provides its’ participants with an opportunity to fully immerse themselves into the powerful and engaging sound of Freddie Mercury.
The workshop is lead by Caz Jeffreys and Jane Goss who are experienced community choir facilitators and workshop leaders, through The Shameless Karaoke Choir – a project which creates one-off singing experiences for all levels of singers.
Bookings are now being taken for 2019 so get in touch for further information if you would like this workshop brought to your group or event.

This group was something of an experiment for me. A few local singers had said to me that they would love an opportunity to do something together with their children and that a combined singing group would be great fun. So we gave it a go and ran it between September-November from the Eccles Hotel, Glengarriff. I have to say it was a really lovely group and a great thing to do. We hope to start the group up again after the Easter holidays 2019. Get in touch if you’d like to be a part of it!
