Wonderful to be invited back to Norwich again by Meg Turpin and the Norwich Community Choir. Hopefully many others will join us too.
Then bringing my first workshop to Chelmsford to The Transition – an interesting looking artists space and cafe which I’m told will be excellent for singing in! So looking forward to meeting new people!
Singers from Dunmanway, Ballydehob and Glengarriff will be joining myself and fellow choir leader Jane Goss for a performance of songs in the Marquee on the town square at 3pm as part of this years’ Festival of the Sea. Looking forward to sharing a selection of up-beat contemporary and world folk pieces.
Later on at 6pm that day I will be leading a Harmony Singing Workshop open to anyone who would like to sing and will be held in the Marquee in St. Peters’ Church gardens. This workshop is part of a programme lined up over a few days for the Beara Arts Festival.
Recently I was approached about starting a choir in Glengarriff. So we decided to set up three sessions to see who we may attract!
If you enjoy this sunny and upbeat flavour of music and enjoy singing then you are in for a treat! This day will introduce you to the next GraceNotes project which will start in September. Movement artist Katie McCormick will also be joining this coming terms project and will be facilitating movement into our songs. VERY EXCITING!!! So get in touch for more info and to book your place soon!
Acapellabella warmly invite those interested in our choir to come along to an evening of singing together and meeting our group. We will introduce you to a variety of our songs selection and projects we get involved in. Here you can enjoy being entertained and also join in with a workshop to experience how we learn and sing together. We welcome new members all year round.
What a wonderful weekend and a great opportunity to work with new facilitators, meet with other choirs and hear new Gospel songs….. and visit the beautiful city of Galway.
Looking forward to returning to Orgiva and Comares in a couple of weeks!!
What a great day! Started of singing with Acapellabella at the Sunday morning service in St. Matthias Church, then down at the market Hall where we were joined by GraceNotes and performed our Jazzabella set. Thanks to all who came and supported us. But my favourite part of the day was singing outdoors on the platform next to the Old Bank House whilst people were gathering for the parade – which was fantastic!! Well done to all who worked so hard to put the festival on……Ballydehob does it again!
What a fantastic show! And a delight to be asked to sing an Italian song alongside many of camillas’ friends to welcome her guests!
Looking forward to working with both Acapellabella Community Choir and GraceNotes Vocal Performance Project on our collaborative Contemporary Jazz set ready for Ballydehob Jazz Festival…..Sunday 6th May.
