I’m really happy that we have Alyanya coming along as our Guest Musician this coming term. I’ve worked with Alyanya before and know we are in for a real treat here..her songs are absolutely beautiful, and we will be working towards a performance with her.

Emerging from jazz college and the singer/songwriter scene of 90’s Dublin where she made an album called Spirit, Alyanya went on tour, supporting legendary folk hero, Luka Bloom, across Europe, America and Australia. Life then brought her into the arms of her Aussie husband, and washed them up in West Cork where they grew a family, a garden, and an organic veg business called Grá Farm. Having been singing lullabies to her children for the last sixteen years while honouring the tireless melody mill in her heart, Alyanya has never stopped creating new songs. Now that her youngest child is 7, she’s been pulled back into the world of collaborating and performing again, with a second album deep in the works.
