This is going to be a wonderful event…so nice to be joining together with Liz Clark and the Skibbereen Community Choir and Community Band. Another event at Levis Corner Bar, Ballydehob as part of the Feelgood Festival! Come along and join us!

We had a wonderful evening singing and playing as part of the West Cork Feelgood Festival on Wednesday 1st October. We were a combination of Ballydehob Community Band, Acapellabella, and local public….sharing good vibes at Levis Corner Bar in Ballydehob. We learned a few songs – including one of my own written especially for the event, complete with harmonies, and found great pleasure in sharing the evening together. I’d like to approach local festivals and events next year to suggest bringing this format out to other towns and villages around West Cork. The event creates such a wonderful space to meet and enjoy sharing meaningful music together. If you’d like to see this coming into your community please get in touch.

Both Acapellabella and Ballydehob Community Band will be joining me once more for the 5th year of my bringing an inclusive singing event into the festival, hosted by the festive environment of Levis Corner Bar, Ballydehob. This has to be one of my favourite events on my calendar! We create such a joyous and full, high energy sound…wit,h everyone in the room enjoying learning a few songs, with harmony parts, and then getting to sing it with loads of voices and a full band sound.
This year I’m getting even more excited as the band has been developing a horn/brass section; the percussion team has evolved bringing more depth to the rhythms; and we have a few new elements and new members in our sound. The pieces I’ve chosen are original songs and are high-energy, with lyrics to bring a message of support and community.
See you there! Everyone very welcome!

Ready for some more singing girls? This term Acapellabella will have the lovely Lisa Canty co-directing alongside me and we have a few great projects coming up which you may enjoy. We meet in Schull, and look forward to welcoming new voices into our Community Choir. Check out Acapellabella West Cork Facebook page for more info.
It’s been 7 years I think, since I last brought a Harmony Singing Workshop to Scariff….and I’m SO looking fowards to coming back! I’ll be bringing a great new collection of songs with me, all with inspiring harmonies of course. Please help to spread the word and let others know…can’t wait to sing with you all again!

Recently I’ve been getting so many inspirations and ideas for creating new music…so I have now created a dedicated space where others can join me to explore.
Welcome! The Songwriting Hub is a fun and nurturing space in which to explore and grow. I’ll be dropping in various content to help inspire and encourage the creativity to flow. I’ll also be sharing details of projects, workshops and mini training sessions which I will be offering in both my free and paid spaces.
This group is for you if:
🎶 You’d like to write songs but don’t know where to start…or perhaps find you don’t reach completion
🎶 You love writing songs and welcome new ideas and tips
🎶 You’d love regular support and encouragement
🎶 You are inspired to explore songwriting alongside others
🎶 You feel excited about songwriting as a tool for self discovery and self expression
If you feel drawn to join me in this space then I look forward to sharing this adventure with you! Please join by the link below, and share to invite others…and let’s get this community growing and the creative juices flowing !! 🎶🎶

Two more Harmony Singing Workshop have been lined up at the Co-op in Scarriff on Sundays 29th March and 26th April from 2-5pm. All are very welcome and the cost is E20 per workshop. (Earlybird price is E15 if paid before 15th March – Workshop 1, and 12th April – Workshop 2.)
I have been invited to bring a group together from these workshops to perform at an afternoon Choir Event as part of the Mount Shannon Arts Festival on Sunday 24th May 2020. This is optional so feel free to book your place at the workshops regardless of wishing to join the concert. I will be running another workshop at the Festival prior to the concert, which will be open to new comers and serve as a rehearsal. Local choirs are also being invited to join in this Concert. Please contact Caz at: cazjeffreys@gmail.com if you’d like to find out more….

Another year gone by and another great day of singing! Thanks to Ciaran and Vicky from Ardu for leading us throughout the day and to everyone who came along to join us. More photos of the day will be going up onto the website shortly…..

Looking forward to joining with other local for this fundraising event in support of the Bantry Bay Save the Kelp Campaign.
