Recently I’ve been getting so many inspirations and ideas for creating new music…so I have now created a dedicated space where others can join me to explore.
Welcome! The Songwriting Hub is a fun and nurturing space in which to explore and grow. I’ll be dropping in various content to help inspire and encourage the creativity to flow. I’ll also be sharing details of projects, workshops and mini training sessions which I will be offering in both my free and paid spaces.

Really looking forwards to this!! Another year passed, and here we are again singing and playing together in the Outback of Levis Corner Bar with Acapellabella and Ballydehob Community Band….Thursday 1st May from 7.30pm. Great way to kick off the Festival celebrations. Do come along and join us…a great vibe and opportunity for a good ol’ sing with loads of voices. Hope to see you there.
What a lovely evening we had in Bridge Street Community Cafe on Friday with Ballydehob Community Band. Thanks to the team there for inviting and hosting us….great to get our music out and about. We wish the Cafe all the best for the future…they are such a lovely group of people offering and holding such a wonderful space for people to share, relax and learn together. Two more Harmony Singing Workshop have been lined up at the Co-op in Scarriff on Sundays 29th March and 26th April from 2-5pm. All are very welcome and the cost is E20 per workshop. (Earlybird price is E15 if paid before 15th March – Workshop 1, and 12th April – Workshop 2.)
I have been invited to bring a group together from these workshops to perform at an afternoon Choir Event as part of the Mount Shannon Arts Festival on Sunday 24th May 2020. This is optional so feel free to book your place at the workshops regardless of wishing to join the concert. I will be running another workshop at the Festival prior to the concert, which will be open to new comers and serve as a rehearsal. Local choirs are also being invited to join in this Concert. Another year gone by and another great day of singing! Thanks to Ciaran and Vicky from Ardu for leading us throughout the day and to everyone who came along to join us. More photos of the day will be going up onto the website shortly…..
Looking forward to joining with other local for this fundraising event in support of the Bantry Bay Save the Kelp Campaign.
Come and join an uplifting afternoon of singing a great selection of songs from a variety of backgrounds in a relaxed and informal environment. You will find us in the upstairs room at the Community Co-op in Scarriff. All are welcome and no previous experience or ability to read music needed. The workshop starts promptly at 2pm and we aim to finish for 5pm. We will have a short break in the middle for refreshments which will be provided.
