Mango Moon at West Corks’ new Reggae Festival at Conollys of Leap

Such an amazing place to play. Do call by if you are ever in the area, and check out this amazing music venue and their new outdoor gig space. AND try the pizza!!

Hope they put this event on again next year. It was so nice to be playing our music in the late afternoon sunshine with children and families bopping around! Much of our music was written by myself, with other members of the band involved with the creation of the bigger sound. So nice to co-create together. Hope you’ll catch us some day!

Mango Moon Reggae comes to Co.Clare

Great! We’re coming back to share our music at Karima’s lovely home venue near Scariff Saturday 16th August!! And we’ve some great new songs to bring to you. If you haven’t heard us play yet and you’re in the area then do come along. Really looking forward to it.

Mango Moon are a 7-piece Reggae/Ska/Dub Band from West Cork.
Mango Moon bring an up-lifting big band sound, delivering reggae and ska infused grooves with rich brass & melodica riffs and vocal harmonies. Original songs celebrating love, life and freedom, with some classic covers thrown into the mix.
Prepare to dance!

Songwriting on Kilcrohane Beach, West Cork

Blend and Balance Workshop with River Rhythms , Innishannon April ’19

Had a wonderful morning with the River Rhythms Choir at Innishannon House Hotel, near Cork on Saturday. A lovely group and a beautiful venue. Workshop tailor made for the group…who went away delighted and feeling more confident with their coming performance at the Cork Coral Festival next month.

Our choir had a wonderful and insightful session with Caz yesterday in Innishannon. I requested a workshop on balancing voices and wow did Caz work her magic and did not disappoint. Looking forward to having Caz work with our choir again, highly recommended! (Lorraine Flourish – Choir Director)

Craig Lees Vocal Workshop, Rosscarbery July 2019

I am hugely excited to be bringing Craig Lees back to West Cork this coming Saturday 13th July for another exciting Vocal Workshop Day!

Short video of his last workshop with us here:

“Enjoy a whistle stop tour through the world of Rock and Pop Choral singing, designed to fill you with fresh ideas to take back to your choir. Learn new songs and explore new techniques in style and blend. The morning session will cover warming up and performance technique, while the afternoon is all about performance and stagecraft, including the opportunity for some brave soloists to take to the stage!”

We will be using the Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery for this event with it’s beautiful views over the water and it’s bird life. With the beach only a short distance away you can choose to bring your own picnic, take a stroll up to the villages cafes, or simply relax and enjoy your lunch break at the hotel.

Craig is a Contemporary Vocal Coach, Choral Director, and Arranger. He is also a Senior Lecturer and is a director of the British Voice Association. (BVA)

You can find out more about Craigs’ work through his Living Vocally programme at www.livingvocally.com
